Dr. Swami moved to Jacksonville in 2003 after completing his fellowship training in allergy and immunology at Johns Hopkins Allergy and Asthma Center. Dr. Swami is board - certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Tree pollen season has started early this year and will continue until early May.  We can help you and your children with sneezing, itchy eyes, itchy ears, itchy and runny nose, stuffy nose and postnasal drip.  Tree pollen can also trigger asthma symptoms such shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness, and cough.  We can work together so that you can be outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather we have this time of the year in Florida. 

At First Coast Allergy and Asthma, we strive to provide excellent allergy and asthma care and a personalized approach.  We take care of infants, children, and adults with allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, sinusitis, food allergy, drug allergy, hives, angioedema (swelling), anaphylaxis, immunodeficiency, insect allergy, and unusual rashes. Our primary goals are to educate you about your condition so that you have a thorough understanding of your treatment options and what you can do to prevent symptoms. Same or next day appointments are often available.  Sick visits can generally be scheduled for the same day.

Allergy shots will be given during our regular office hours until 30 minutes before closing.

Allergy shots will be given throughout the day (including lunchtime) on Tuesdays and Fridays at our 9A and Baymeadows location.  Wi-Fi is also available at this location.

Allergy shots will not be given from 11:30 AM to 1 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
